Jessica Bacerott

Communications, Marketing & Outreach Officer, Staff Assembly

Jessica has been with UCSF since 2021 as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner and has been successful in her outreach to our SF community by being a resource in the development of the Practice Coordinator Academy, a lead in the LGBTQ+ Diversity Group, a project manager for UCSF PRIDE events, and a resource for UCSF resume workshops. With the Staff Assembly she will continue in her outreach to encourage the non-representative staff to join our LISTSERV, increase general meetings attendance, and manage the newsletters & Staff Assembly website. 

Jay Bhatia

Jay is an Infrastructure Program Manager at UCSF Health, focusing on deferred maintenance and infrastructure renewal. Since joining in May 2022, I collaborate with stakeholders across UCSF’s major sites to prioritize and advocate for essential projects.

I've worked at UCSF since 2012 and currently support communication and promotion efforts for faculty educators as part of UCSF's education mission in the Center for Faculty Educators. I create and manage digital and print publications as well as serve as my unit's website administrator.

Frenni Anne Dolsie Enriquez

Advocacy, Engagement, Recognition, Staff Assembly

Frenni has been with UCSF for 13 years, as a Medical Student Clerkship Coordinator and works with reviewing, onboarding, and coordinating with visiting medical students and also facilitates and advertises our Surgery Residency Program’s and provides Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion sessions. Fernni leads the clerkship program at the fall national conference and performs student evaluations and surgical skill lab orientation for the 2024 Association of Surgical Education conference.

Andrea Graeser

Past Chair, Staff Assembly

Andrea, aka Dre among colleagues, has worked at UC for over 14 years and during this time completed two terms on the UCSF Staff Assembly Executive Board, most recently as a CUCSA Delegate for UCSF.  As a clinical applications professional, they build and test changes to UCSF's electronic health record (EHR) and support Marin and UCSF community affiliate clinics that are going live with APeX for the first time.

Mike Matthews, JD

CUCSA Delegate, Staff Assembly

Michael has been with UCSF for just over five (5) years as an Assistant Director within the Industry Contracts Division, negotiating agreements on behalf of UCSF with a variety of different outside entities, typically involving funding from industry entities for research performed at UCSF. Michael also is heavily involved in data governance at UCSF, which is a very interesting and challenging area, particularly with the rise of AI. As a CUCSA counsel, I can meaningfully improve employees’ opportunities and wellness.

Hira Safdar, MS

Office of Population Health

Hira has been with UCSF since 2016. She currently works at the Office of Population Health in Operations and Administration and has previously served as project manager and program coordinator for Campus. She received her master’s degree in health leadership from UCSF in 2021 and has expanded her knowledge on budgets, journals, reimbursements, payment, procurement, and other financial projects over the years. She has been an active member of the Administrative Management Professionals group since 2018, and she welcomes you to reach out with any questions, any time!

Inder Takhar

Chair, Staff Assembly

Inder joined UCSF in June 2022 to manage special projects/programs for the Innovation Ventures team, specifically working with Strategic Alliances and the Entrepreneurship Program.  As the chair-elect, Inder’s goal is to encourage more staff engagement in the Staff Assembly and foster a space of inclusion. He has a background in executive public relations, partnership development, and communications. Inder has an MA from San Francisco State University and a BA from the University of California, San Diego

Barry Tong

Communications, Marketing & Outreach Officer-Elect, Staff Assembly

Barry joined UCSF Health in 2017 and is currently a Genetic Counseling Supervisor in the Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program, both supervising genetic counselors and seeing patients at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. He is eager to learn how to best engage non-represented staff at UCSF through commmunications and outreach.
