The UCSF Staff Assembly is now accepting applications for the Staff Scholarship Program. The aim of this program is to support activities that enrich the personal and professional lives of its membership -- UCSF career, non-represented, non-union staff.
 
Scholarships may be used for Professional Development and Continuing Education (PDCE) -- degrees, courses, conferences, webinars, etc. Applications are due March 31, 2017.

A new affordable housing complex adjacent to UC San Francisco’s Mission Bay campus is accepting applications now through Dec. 21, 2016.

Employees of public universities and health care institutions in San Francisco, including UCSF, will receive preference for 50 of the units, which total 25 percent of the total units in the planned complex.

From UC Net: UC is changing its voluntary disability insurance options to give all eligible employees — those currently covered and those not enrolled — new options for protecting their finances. For 2017, you can choose Voluntary Short-Term Disability (benefits up to six months), Long-Term Disability (benefits after six months, up to your Social Security retirement age) or both, depending on your needs and budget.
